venky iyer is better than shivam dubey, even shardul bats as good as shivam..he isjust a slogger.harshit rana was a better choice.

 

i dont like rituraj..india has better batsmen

Could have had pacers with pace but overall good to see those who have done well in IPL get opportunities. Samson is missing.

Playing a t20 with Australia is fine. Timing of the series is not. They should give it sometime. Have the series few weeks later. Even if that means most players not available due to SAF tour, thats fine since that gives other placers a chance. But to have it few days right after WC is really poor planning.

Objective of the series ? 
 

bowling - axar and sundar need to come good . Both can hit long . Bowl well and field well . 
bishnoi - kuldeep and bisnoi are our best wrist spinners . Need bishnoi to play all 5 games 

rinku and sky - our main power hitters and now Ayer in the mix - ability to hit sixes 

 

yash , kishan as openers - real aggression and fearlessness 

 

Disappointments - don’t know what they are thinking with fast bowling.  My guess is they are grooming backup for bumrah , Shami and prasiddh - we should see at least 10 pacers tried out and IPL form will also count . 
 

mukesh kumar - dunno why he is in rt20 

 

I hope chahar and pandya are fit come t20 World Cup . Even thakur is better than these mukesh KUMAR’s

It is a waste of time to pick specialist swing bowler in t20s. Pick somone like Woakes who can give you 2-3 overs of swing up front then 1-2 over you can manage in between.

Deepak Chahar is the best in this regard.

Need to develop hitters down the order.

I wanted to watch the series..but BCCI by selecting Avesh & Mukesh has hinted us clearly that this is just a temporary selection behind which no thoughts were given.

 

I followed SMAT and had high hopes with the performance of Abhishek, Mayank etc but selectors are stupid (using this word with lot of censorship) and has no motivation for the Indian Cricket betterment. Selector who was supposed to watch SMAT had himself given up on the cricket and took acting instead, shows how much sincere he is towards this game and towards the players who are dedicated to this.

Pick few young talented pacers like Tyagi Mayank Y or even Yash Thakur (was in Asian Games squad)  than these useless Kumars & has beens like Avesh. 

No body would care if we lose this series after final defeat.  But it would be massive if we unearth or have a breakout performance from these guys. 

Heck Umran deserves a chance over Avesh man.

This Trundler would be given worse treatment than Lord Vinay Koomar

If alternate is Mohd Siraj, give me these trundlers like Avesh, Arshdeep, Mukesh any day. After his honeymoon start what has Siraj done against non-SC opponents, that too among SC he has done well only against SL. He will continue to suck and suck but will play every single game. Zero with the bat, zero as a fielder, halwa brainless bowler who wilts under slightest hint of pressure, but attitude like a hyperexcited monkey. He is an equivalent of Chahal, only worse behaviour.
