What exactly is the role of Ruturaj in T20? He could have been a good fit for ODI in past but playing him in T20 is absolutely rubbish, same way how Sky looks like a deer in front of headlights in ODI . If we do not recognise the format specific skills and more importantly mindset, then this is a cruel joke played on Indian fans in repeat mode.

Actually Rutu in place of SKY in the world cup would have been better. Even in domestic Ruturaj's strength is List A games as he accelerates in death overs.

No way, SKY is like a risky investment, if he clicks will win you a match. Ritu just piles up on a line up of Rohit; Kohli,, Gill,Iyer; Rahul; Jadeja and even the current version of Pandya. He is not as good as them either.

He plays a specific role for CSK with success. That is not the role for him in Indian side. Outside CSK he is not going to be the same in T20. He may have a shot in the ODIs as he can hit sixes

Csk he opens with Conway which masks his flaws. He is a good and improved player but he is way behind  the pecking order.

I think these "fine leg" shots are as harmful as helpful for SKY. IN the WC he looked ridiculous with those shots.

You can't stop him. Rahane coming back into Tests was due to IPL. After one cameo at Wankhede he was picked for the 5th Test. CSK and MI quotas are too powerful to overcome.

RInku is an exception as he is from KKR. Players from other franchises rarely get backed. Tripathi was played for  awhile and kicked out.
