We always play long series' and bound to have injuries tonkain bowlers so automatically comes into the picture but need to pick him first in the squad 

Same thing we can do with Harshit as he has played quite a few FCs 

Umran Tyagi Mayank need to get fit first and play one full season of FC to train their bodies

But all aside, its very easy to troll and be negative against someone. While its extremely difficult to stay positive and back a player.

 

Jo ye trollers hai ye baarish ke frog jaise hai. Flop hone pe Tarr Tarr karenge, aur jab successful hoga to chup hoke apne bil me ghus jayenge.

Prasidh has played just 20 Ranji matches in 7-8 years.

Actually it's just 13 Ranji matches. The rest is India A games and a few Duleep Trophy games. 16 of his 27 first-class appearances came after his Test debut in December 2023.

I still remember him making the headlines on his first-class debut in 2015 against Bangladesh A, taking a 5-fer and blowing away Bangladeshi capped players with the new ball. It is crazy to me that he's still in the "learning phase" 10 years later with very little first-class experience.

He has just 5-6 years left in him at most. Indian team management should hedge their bets wisely and also groom younger pacers.

Yes. He stayed injured most of the time and Karnataka also had fiery trio of Aravind, legend Vinay and Mithun, so, others didn't get many chances.

He is injury prone and I was doubtful he would play without getting injured.

 

The good sign is he was able to bowl.above 140 K even at the end of 4th day and he doesn't get affected even if he is targeted by batsman.

I saw some interview of DK on CB few years bk, where he mentioned Prasidh has plan of his own, he needs to just execute it better. 

Moment he does, he will be an asset for the team.

There were some intelligent by play in this series. ANother one is  Jadeja bowling an over in 1.5 minute or so  in the 2nd test , so that Sundar gets an over which gave us Stokes wickets

Yes, Stpkes was so angtry at that dismissal, it showed up in the ifrustration of denying Jadeja/Washington 100s on T4D5  

Even the Crawley dismissal on D4 last ball was a similar bluff like Prasidh's. . Siraj executed the yorker in that instance. with deep 3rd man
