State Assembly elections 2023

Re north south etc

I think the debate is overdone.

Congress voteshare was still high enough in the north. Cumulativly more than 40% overall. Bjp in telangana doubled its voteshare. Keep in mind that 14% is actually underrepresented given that  turnout in ghmc is much lower than rural areas. Bjp is focused there.

7% in 2018 resulted in 4 ls seats given the concentrated nature of votes.

14% in 2023 will result in much more.

Its a matter of time BJP forms a government again in the south, given that they have increased their vote share in Telengana and Tamil Nadu is ruled by hinduphobic christian fascists that you love so much.

Ignore such posts.

Congress literally cant return to power (2011 assam last time they returned to power) anywhere in the country.

Supposedly bjp (the main opposition) in karnataka cannot come back to power when its been happening on a regular basis. Yeah sure.....

Truth is likes of Karnataka HP and Rajasthan are heavy incumbancy states. Mostly bjp will win kar hp in the next cycle and cong will win raj.

These are the political equations that persist.

I expect cong to pick haryana punjab and kerala in the next round. Bjp should pick up jharkhand pretty easily and will have a more than fair shot in bihar and maharashtra to seal the deal.

As you can see many of the states are in different geographic regions.

Congressis and liberals need to grow up and realise this fact. North ve south simply plays to the bjp strengths

And yeah if i was a congress strategiest there needs to be deep analysis on why the party cannot return to power.

Tmc aap jdu (by party hopping) brs bjd aiadmk cpm have all returned to power in the last decade. Bjp has returned to power in assam up mp guj uttarakhand etc etc.

In punjab the bjp and akalis split and aap was nowhere in the picture n cong lost. In chhatisgrah bjp was absent for 4.5 years and lost bypoll after bypoll had no cm face and cong lost badly.

This is a major structural issue.

Kangress cannot return to power in Hindi belt because its a 2 horse race.

BJP Has five pillars that appeals to different voter bases : Hindutva, Nationalism, Development , reforms and Modi

Kangress has 2 pillars : Secularism and freebies.

You cant win against BJP in national elections with just secularism and freebies.

This goes beyond the hindi belt.

In Punjab bjp was not even in the race.

Hope this has been sorted, others are timepass.

Unfortunately, it hasn't been. Jobless for over 4 months now... :bebored:

Besides., Congress coming to power here is not as small a thing. Our people have ended up giving a rough one to kcr.. next 5 years is going to be a long long period for us.

You think your little party can prevail against the coalition of pro-language and anti-migrant regionalists, SC/STs, Hindu liberals, religious minorities, atheists, feminists...? :giggle:

My party is the biggest party on the planet earth and its already prevailed against your treasonous western slave parties already. We have the SC/ST votes in our kitty or did you miss this election's breakdown of votes as well, like a typical lying ignorant westernised fool ?

we have steadily increased our vote share against your hinduphobic parties, bub. And will rule over your state soon too.

Thank you for including the bolded part to prove you are nothing more than a hindu hating nazi.

Unfortunately, your party's standing in the south has reduced to an insignificant level. Witnessing your Hindu party being rejected even in your home state must be hard for you.

Your delusion is strong. Apart from running away from showing any facts that support your worldview, you are also delusional to not see that my party is gaining ground in most states in the south in seats.

Hindu party is at its strongest yet in my home state. Rome wasn't built in a day, we are the largest party, so we dont worry about rabid hinduphobe nazi parties that you support. We will grind them down.

Great chance for fresh leadership in MP and Rajasthan. MP and Rajasthan should be a growth engine for India.

Mark my words. Rêvant Reddy is future BJP material. He is hindutva in his own way. Watch this space.

Think he was a ABVP leader who jumped onto TDP bandwagon in 2000s and then hopped onto Cong ... Ambitious guy but will be wary of turncoats

What happens in TN, stays in TN isn't true anymore. Your bigoted leaders, anti-North, anti- Hindu rhetorics are seen nationwide.

Also, TN alone doesn't represent South India. BJP is the largest LS Party there from 2019, and they are similar well-placed for Lok Sabha.

And then you are full of oxymorons. Being with Islamists, yet call yourself liberals, feminists etc. These self-righteous belief, how you are holier-than-thou through name tags, doesn't work anymore.
