he is a 1st down batsman not sure why is he batting so low, maybe to accommodate rudra patel..

Looks really good. Hope gets to bat earlier. Can easily bat at 6 at least.

This happens at all the levels EXCEPT our main setup. Once they all grind through the U15s, 19s, selectors look for specialists.. Our main system is to blame. The TM and their mentality is crap. TBH, what happened to Raj Bawa, Hangargekar. They were supposed to both bat and ball. They are no where near the main team. The difference in quality matters

Naman Tiwary - another short bowler with no accuracy.  It's shocking to see the number of talentless bowlers we produce.

They are the worst u19 team in recent years.  Apart from Arshin, no one is good. 

Is this the best possible fast bowlers from the u19 quota? 

All are wide-ball merchants.

Well the fast bowling bowling looks toothless, arshin is a support bowler at best. The other bowlers are wayward and have no control. They have left out, really nice bowlers who were consistent in the previous tournaments. Jayant Gogat, N Suranu were two bowlers who look like bowlers and have been performing decently well. if you talk about pure pace, there was a bowler from Chhattisgarh who played the under 19 tournament last year but wasn’t selected this year, heard he bowls around 145+. However, this time around bowlers who have been fast at all short in height and bowlers, who are tall bowl below 130 KMPH. That’s been the story with the fast bowlers.

Shahwaiz irfan isnt picked because he is overage now but that dude is a real talent. One of the best ball strikers i have ever seen at the junior level.

not the worst, they are a good team and have good all rounders, however when the conditions are not supportive they don’t have an X factor bowler, and in batting Rudra was supposed to be the X factor batsmen,  it he has not fired as yet. Hopefully they try out other players too, and there is still time for world cup selection, specially for SA conditions.. It’s evident the team management are going for all rounders..

After Bishnoi from Jaiswal 2020 batch we haven't produced or selected a genuine wrist spinner...  In 2022 & looks like the case in 2024 as well. 

Selectors & coaches should be sacked alone for this @nsareen any good wrist spin U19 option? 

Sick of these off spinners & SLAO.

Must be a siparishi one...  Seen him bowl vs Nepal...  Very average.  No skill whatsoever.  Must have solid connections I think.

Md Zeeshan is impressive man...  Guy has bright future.  His fitness looks off a bit.  If he works on it...  This guy can be serious test class bowler.
