Looking at current status of that facility in NY...  It's foolish to host games there. 

Florida should have hosted that game or Barbados (final is played there)  Eng v Aus too..  (Tourism factor perhaps) 

 

No game in Dallas for India which is a much better facility than NY looking at MLC games.

So how does the format work? Top 2 from each group goes to super 8 and then the same model as 2007-2012 editions? Or the super League for 8 teams like the 2007 ODI wC?

Whatever format which will ensure India plays to Pakistan atleast twice.

No. In super 8 there will be 2 groups. India and pak will be in different groups. If all goes to plan i think ind sl aus and some other team in group 1.
