We have not had any top or middle order batting for over 3 years now. The same old same old continue to command a place in the team and do nothing. Pujara, Kohli, Rahane, Rahul and now even Rohit, Gill just kept managing to stay in the team thanks mainly due to some rescue efforts from Pant and the lower order in the past. Even on the previous Aus tour of India, it was Axar Patel scoring vital lower order runs to rescue the team. Now Jaiswal is the new guy who will bear the burden. 

 

Its high time we invest in domestic performers. See what we get when we give a guy like Jaiswal a chance. But no, BCCI will continue to stick with old sh!t. That is why I have almost given up watching cricket except IPL mostly.

For Test players, BCCI should make it mandatory to play few FC games in India. These international players want to only play international matches and IPL. They just walk into Test teams without any recent FC experience.
