I don't think so, that is doing them disservice.They don't change their way of playing the game just for Ashes or tournaments.

 

Aussies are the only team IMO who are ready to lose a match in order to win it.That takes guts.

 

You just don't win as much as they have done by accident.

This Aus batting is nowhere near the Ponting/Waugh teams or 70s with Redpath/Chappell bros/Walters.

 

Anyone that loses to Shamar Joseph based WI is vulnerable.

Credit to windies.   But it was a brain fart from Cummins when he declared after being 9 down at a below par score in the 1st inning. (Had the last two batters stayed at the crease for another 5 mins, the end result would hv been different).  It was probably due the over-confidence he was carrying after having won the WC.

I would have backed aussies to win even if they had to score 100 runs with 8 wickets down. NZ just shiver against their big bros

Steve Smith's inability to bat with the tail was the more direct reason for the loss. If you change something in second innings, lot of variables come into play in the next two.

This same Cummins will do Jack in IPL and laugh all the way to bank. Starc is phainta machine as always in India.

Franchises are stupid to pick these slackers. Don't know what makes them spend so wildly knowing fully well that these guys will just go through the motions.

Cummins and Starc are being paid for their names.They did not beg IPL teams to pay them.

It seems the ICC has decided that every WTC Final would be held in the month of June.   Can BCCI show its power and force ICC to hv that Final little later (like July)?.     Coz our test team is bound to fail if WTC final is held in June (which comes immediately after IPL.  Our players get exhausted. And find it challenging to adjust to Test format after having played 2 months of T20).

Maha chewts are the people who throng to WPL  stadiums with their league banners to support Australia.  last time i checked, all the angrezi ladkiyan are performing. Desi girls are absolute dud.. Ahahahaha. It's like a circus in which foreign animals perform and get paid handsomely.

Scheduling IPL after June would be the most practical and best solution.  IMHO.    Otherwise we are likely to achieve an unbeatable record of having lost 10 out of 10 WTC Finals by 2050.

IPL teams are run by businessmen who know a thing or two about making money. They are not paying these guys just for the sake of paying.

In pressure/KO games it's all about unforced errors! The team with least unforced errors generally wins - this was particularly true for their SF vs SA & to a lesser extent against us. In fact the SF were both much closer than the final
