BCCI look for new coach: Rahul Dravid can re-apply, says Jay Shah

Rahul Dravid won't reapply. Even first term, it was Ganguly who coerced him to become the coach. He was happy at NCA and India A.

I don't trust Dravid at all. He's just like every other selfish gits we've seen so far - says one thing and does something else altogether. When he wasn't a coach he talked a big game about backing domestic players and youngsters. When he became a coach he fast-tracked SKY in Tests and ODIs totally ignoring domestic performers such as Sarfaraz and Rinku. And in WT20 squad we hardly see any youngsters despite Abhishek lighting up the IPL. On top of that we've all seen his unstinted support for likes of KS Bharath and Avesh Khan.

 

So color me a skeptic when you say "Dravid won't reapply". He may seem meek and docile, but his actions have been every bit as selfish and short-sighted as others who came before him.

why denigrate VVS or Paras Mambrey or any other domestic player? Chandrakant Pandit has shown what is possible with MP, Vidharba & now KKR.

Jay Shah is the biggest doofus,dude made Rohit captain of T20 and before that he made Pandya the captain.the biggest Chuitya of indian cricket and we have many horrible guys running BCCI.

rom there we've devolved into a team of one-dimensional specialists who can't even play one role well. Batsmen can't bowl, bowlers aren't good enough to hold a bat, all-rounders are non-existent, have an out-dated approach to playing, and the coaches are likes of Dravid with Laxman waiting on the sidelines 

 

No wonder we haven't won anything with such a poorly constructed team with an out-dated approach, clueless team management, and useless selectors with no vision.

He ha probably learned from his dad, i.e., how he was made the head of BCCI. He probably think that's how things work in real world and appoints captains the same way his dad made him the head of BCCI
