Bhai, Raman is one of the most vocal supporters of fast bowling in this country. Sure he may not be able to get his way like Gambo but he is still better than most Indian coaches. Raman and Bharat Arun are good friends as well. 

 

No one should get anything unopposed, otherwise complacency may set in, even for Gambhir.

Gambo has to get Bharat Arun back into the fold, KKR connection might come in handy. Cruel to imagine a situation where Mayank, Harshit, Kartik, Umran will get mentored by some trundler loving piece of ****. Also Abhishek Nayar, can help get the best out of youngsters.

both of you are right and what you have mentioned is absolutely true,we aren't sure about things until we see them

Maybe Raman is good maybe Gambhir,

Gambhir seems more acquainted with current modern needs,yes Raman too should be in the fold for his love for pace

According to me MS Dhoni should become Indian cricket team Coach. Because his experience of winning Trophy will help Team India.

I want Gambhir to get the job. But shouldn't become one unopposed, competition is always good.

But TOI understands that the new management is all set to look beyond the veterans and build a fresh team for the shortest format. Established stars like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah will now be focusing on the longer formats with the WTC and ICC Champions Trophy next year in mind.

Most likely Gambhir will join Team Ind as coach from the SL series.   During the Zim series, VVS Laxman will remain as interim coach.

That's why I didn't take T20 retirements seriously. This is just the way to prolong their career in other formats..

Rohit will be 40 by the time 2027 WC comes, Kohli will be 39. We  play very few ODIs nowadays. Time to groom youngsters is now.

 

If we take them to CT next year, new guys like Jaiswal, Rinku, Sai Sudarshan will get 10-15 ODIs (max) before the WC which is not ideal.
