Who cares?  Pakistan is a country in terminal decline.  The IMF had to tell them last year to collect taxes and use the revenue to alleviate poverty in the country.  The IMF!  Pakistan is a failed enterprise, the partition of Indian was clearly a huge mistake but it can't be undone now.  They've gone their own way and down the Jihadi path.  Let them get on with it,  as long as they don't send terrorists over the border.

Also, SL have managed to produce quality legal bowlers , including spinners, after the strict enforcement of chucking rules. 

 

They are struggling because of the decline in their batting standards .

 

PAK have struggled to produce a single decent LOI spinner since Ajmal.

World Cups have tended to follow this cycle for Asian teams: 

 

Ind -> Pak -> SL

 

ODIs: Ind (1983) -> Pak (1992) -> SL (1996) -> Ind (2011)

 

T20s: Ind (2007) -> Pak (2009) -> SL (2014) -> Ind (2024)

 

So Pak is next if the cycle continues. In T20s, teams like AFG could disrupt this cycle.

2027 WC will be won by Aus, Ind or RSA, Eng may be a dark horse, NZ golden generation on the way out. In the future as well real world cup will always be contested among 3-4 teams, Ind and Aus will take 2 of those spots.

 

1992 fluke will be the last WC won by Pak. Same with Lanka.

If india get rid of oldies there is a good chance we can wc in SA. Pace attack will reach peak with the new young gen stepping up. Lot of kids taking up bowling given bumrahs impact.

That Mehran Mumtaz guy from emerging cup was on standby in case Pak had made to Super 8.

He is another Nawaz type player but a bit better batsman.

Yeah but I rate Arafat Minhas higher than Mehran.  This guy can actually spin the ball and can bat also.

 

Mehran is a bit of a lottery and I don't think his bowling is sustainable.

Minhas guy was seen in Asian Games... Looked okay tbh.

I like Sufiyaan muqeem & he is genuinely bright prospect for them. 

Indian emerging players were all at sea against him and weren't picking him.

Let's see how he comes back post injury.  

We need to find a left arm chinaman soon as well. I don't see India producing anyone these days too.

No it needs to be pointed out as well, I don't particularly like the Pak team but they haven't been that bad to India post 2k - Afretard or Chuckmal aside who probably had small d**** syndrome! The SL team for me is demonstrably worse in that period even when we helped hem so much with away tours & all, the likes of Sanga/Dilshan/Mahela(?) did that BS to Sehwag & yes SRT as well & yet they get a free pass because they're minnows now?

pak fans are chutia but pak team is pretty nice - too nice in fact, almost like fanboys lol.
