In that time they have changed 2 captain, 3 coaches 6 selectors, 8 masseues. Picked 2 retired game show participants, constituted a commitee to study climate and rain index in United States, supported 7 different teams at various stages including India to get quadratic equation ka nizaam. Amen

And rigorously trained by the ISI and military on using 6th generation warfare  tactics before every tournament.

Why ICC tournament in Pakistan at first itself is very baffling. Has every country started touring Pakistan frequently?

I think Pakistan being the defending champ (as they won CT2017) might hv played a big role in all this.

You know what's even funnier?

We are likely to be in the same group as usual they will be made to fly to Sri Lanka/Dubai to face us in a tournament hosted by them.. :hysterical:

Zalaalat hi zalaalat

If Ind & Pak are going to be placed in separate groups, then Pak won't hv to travel outside. (Atleast for group stage matches).   But I don't think ICC will do that.

CT is a border line useless tournament with no significance.  Lowest in pecking order.

Even Asia Cup has a lot more history and significance than this farce.

Just a ICC trophy for the sake of it.

BCCI and ICC would only let few Pak group games in Pak  as a lollypop to them like in Asia Cup.

Majority of tournament and Knockouts will happen in SL/UAE.

The way things are unfolding in Jammu, cricket is the least of our concerns.

Huge batch of jihadis (100-150, maybe more) have crossed border @Lone Wolf according to sources. Ex Pak armymen also among the terrorists operating here.

GOI can no longer pretend all is fine, daily our jawans are dropping dead.

Scrap this useless CT. Just a marketing gimmick. They are devaluing ICC trophies by hosting one event every 6 months.

You need to win 4 matches to win a Champions Trophy   In 2017 exactly that happened with Pakistan. They won 2 group league matches lost the third to india. Then sf and final. A round robin with 8 teams is a much better option. At least you ll have to play 9 matches then to win an icc trophy. Indian won the 2013 trophy unbeaten btw.
