Berdych is 6 5'. Sinner is 6 2' and his movement is better than Birdman. That's why the advantage for Sinner. He can improve his net game. That's about it. Everything else is already maxed out.

Birdman used to hit the ball as clean as a whistle. Pity Birdman never won a slam but Cilic did

Nobody had groundstrokes as good as Berdych. Berdych had to best two of the big 3 just to reach the Wimbledon final. Cilic just had to face one. However, I feel 2014 USO Cilic might have won the W final in 2010 against Nadal. Just an outside chance. Berdych definitely had the better career outside of slams and in terms of consistency compared to Cilic. But when Cilic was peaking and mentally on, he was trouble for any player on tour not named Djokovic.

Sinner is already the toughest opponent for Alcaraz. He has said that himself. Everytime they play it's a 5 setter.

Zverev is the only one capable of winning multiple slams if he puts his mind into it other than these two.

This is your new Big 3. Meddy can be your Big 4.

Zverev will never win a major even if he gets a mental conditioning coach. Too many issues off the court, plus he has type 1 diabetes. Maybe in an alternate universe, a Zverev without anger and domestic violence issues, better mental conditioning, and absence of Diabetes might have won multiple slams. Zverev also has issues in his game, though. He becomes too passive, resorts to unnecessary pushing, his ROS is not what it was before the ankle injury, his net and volley game is poor, FH can dessert him at times. Not to mention occasional second serve issues, and double faults, though he seems to have fixed that in recent times.

Domestic violence has nothing to do with tennis.

2024 GS results look good for Zverev. SF in Australia. F in RG. Got injured in Wimbledon. He can win USO 2024.

Second serve is fixed now with low ball toss. FH is consistent. He cannot improve his net game. Once he gets his ROS back, it's over.

Off court distractions affect a person on court. Also related to his anger management issues and mentality on court. Diabetes affects his physical conditioning, hence a lot of 5 set matches early on, and it in turn affects him at the latter stages of events, he becomes gassed and exhausted.

Djokovic Berdych  h2h   25-3

Nadal  Berdych      h2h   20-4

Federer Berdych    h2h   20-6

Yeah Djokovic was better but Berdych was not much of trouble for say Nadal either or Federer.

same with Cilic

Nadal Cilic    h2h     7-2

Federer Cilic h2h    10-1

This sport is in Olympics but cricket, kabbadi aren't lol

Olympics is full of made up sports.  There're tens of medals across swimming and gymnastics. All bullshyte. Why not medals for Kabaddi, Kho Kho, Gilli-Danda, Pithu, Kancche (Marbles), Stapu, Pakdan Pakdai etc?

We expect medals from our athletes and rant against them when they fail despite facing all kinds of odds. And look how they're treated... Swapnil Kusale has been fighting promotion for 9 years and his file hasn't moved thanks to our "babu" culture. Now he has won the medal he'll get a "double promotion".

And I'm sure there're literally thousands of upcoming athletes facing similar challenges or even bigger adversities. This incident came to light after Swapnil won a medal. There'll be many who haven't been as successful or won medals and will continue their struggle. Unless we change our culture we'll continue to get odd medals here and there as these're won despite the system and not because of it.

Nadal-Alcaraz lost in doubles.

Spain having a horror Olympics after the Euros/tennis highs last month. Just 1 silver and 3 bronzes, apparently have finished 4th in 11 events. And we feel bad for one Arjun Babuata @neel roy

Its a bit surprising to be honest for a sports crazy country like Spain to have so few medals. They still have football. Both mens and womens team in quarterfinals.

2032 Olympics will be in Brisbane with cricket matches to be hosted in Its all happening in Gabba..2036 is undecided and India is targeting to host Olympics. so 2036 will definitely have Kabaddi and Kho Kho maybe.. but even there we might choko choko

Nobody can beat us in Kabaddi. I believe we won every Asian gold for Kabaddi. The point is that events are more popularity contests than anything else. How else you have almost 80 medals for swimming and gymnastics combined? And a number of those events are extremely subjective.

Why not 10 medals for Kancche/Marbles where there're so many variations possible? Why not African and Asian indigenous sports which are played by more people than the ones which currently make it to Olympics? :dontknow:

It's similar to how the host countries are selected for Olympics or how FIFA awarded hosting WC to Qatar. It's all about money and politics.

These are tricky topics and tbh Iam not qualified enough to judge. Allegedly she was born a woman(organs etc) but has the male chromosomes(from the test) How did they decide to test her on that without a definite testosterone test to say otherwise? It all seems a botched job from the associations, IOC and Boxing

Boxing has limitations with wrt weight to allow 'fair' fights, it definitely is unfair on the Italian athlete if she felt Khelif was unnaturally strong

I guess people forget Semenya caster case. From outside it looked like she has vagina but actually was under developed penis. She don't  have uterus and never menstruate . She also has hidden testies.

Yup there is a small matter of 2022-23 game when we beat them and every other time but yeah it's a small matter. Point is we lost in 2018 hence the proof, the theorem over.

I'm  all for as many indigenous sports as possible. More entertaining as well than watching Gymnastics and Swimming.

Tbf swimming is a life skill. I repesct that. Gymnastics well it's great too. But why you need Synchronised diving?

Diving single is ok.

Why double lol

And artistic gymnastics? They can use that for theatre and drama. Not sports

Also btw gymnasts get abused so much. I have seen coaches treat them very badly. Girls especially.
