Novak did not break Carlos either.You are taking about the best returner in history .

 

There is joy in watching Carlos too. He will be ending up with lot more grand slams.There is no one to stop him after Novak is gone.

India has filed an appeal against the red card. Tournament director will take the decision. Whether he misses next match, or next two. 

 

Hockey India involved now. They have raised concerns about quality of umpiring and video referrals.

There is no one better in history in playing tie breaks than Novak. So losing in two tie breaks is no disgrace.

 

I was so mad that Novak lost this wimbledon finals but this win makes up for it.

 

If you had asked Novak if he would sign up for gold and not win any grand slam titles this year, he would sign it without any hesistation.

Nole had an operation 2 months back. Now winning the one thing missing in his resume.

 

He would have taken this deal, Olympic gold instead of RG, Wimbledon. Means so much to him, look at the emotions. 

 

2 birds killed with one stone, Olympic gold achieved, and his legacy of beating future GOAT contender Alcaraz (that too peak/prime version) despite 16 years age gap.

Nole winning Olympic gold in clay is something I didn't expect.

 

But at this stage of his career, clay is easier on his knees, and only BO3.

Who cares about puny ATP titles when you are 37 and have won 24 slams. He only plays the circuit so he gets better seedings at slams. Only thing he hadn't won was a Olympic Gold which he has now. 

 

 

Djokovic is on his last legs now. It's incredible that he beat a young in form Champ on a slow surface like RG at age 37.  Outlasted Nadal on Clay.
