That coach was Caldas, HI lodged official complaint about officiating post that match and he made some sarcastic remarks against our people.

 

That fat prick is Spanish coach now.

why there isnt stuff like ball tracking in the PS decision to check if it was actually going in the goal? You cant just have a TV ump making decisions subjectively esp for PS calls

It's an old story in Hockey. Either we become a superpower like US or China that people are afraid to rule against us. Or drop out of the sport altogether. These biases will remain and we'll continue getting the short end of the stick. Happened last Olympics, happened this Olympics, happened at other events, and will continue to happen.

 

The only sport we have influence in is cricket. And it's time we make the most of it just like other countries do when they have the power.

And what did we do with the power. We created a monster pitch to bite the opponent. It came back to bite us in wc2023 finals.

hockey is a very small sport in most countries.

 

you expand its reach across the country. we automatically become no 1.

Julien Alfred won gold in 100 and now silver in 200m. She won the only two medal which her country has won.

At the very least move these phuckin WTC finals to be held in India. How can we have every WTC final scheduled in England where it's like a home game for SENA countries, which are likely to be our opponents Schedule them in Colombo, Kanpur, Chennai, Kolkatta, Mirpur etc.

 

And make sure the umpires understand there'll be repercussions if umpires call goes against India. Time we take the page from Aussies' playbook from 2008 series where Ponting was umpiring in the middle and giving Indian batsmen out with umpire taking his lead.

Maybe a small sport in most countries but most of the influential countries are European. Germany, Britain, Netherlands, Australia, Spain etc. may be small but Hockey India isn't powerful enough to take them on.

It doesn't even need to be hugely popualr in india for the $$$ to come in and HIL to have power.
