He never took Nadeem lightly. He ran pretty close in the world championships last year. Neeraj won gold Nadeem silver.

Getting consecutive gold is very tough. He did extremely well to get silver after gold 4 years ago. Lost to an Olympic record. Not his day

It's OK. It was their time. Neeraj is still a champion. He will come back next time.

my concern now is in the long run how much of a factor Nadeem is going to be? is he here to stay or is he like so many javelin athletes who do not have consistency?
