Diplomatically they should be treated just like Pakistan. Since 90s they have been aiding, sheltering our NE militant groups, most of ULFA's top brass still finds refuge in BD, even during Hasina regime. Porous border (no thanks to geography), and lack of security presence makes matters much worse compared to our borders with Pakistan and China. Despite the fact I despise the Pak deep state, you will find that at least 20% of Pakistanis are quality and level headed.

These replies given in Parliament state that 88,792 Bangladeshi nationals were deported between 2005 and 2013 (during UPA rule). The reply also stated that from 2014 to 2017, 1,822 Bangladeshi nationals were deported during the NDA rule.
