Ashwin has owned him, when you face Ashwin on roll as LHB, you don't score a lot. Ashwin is that good.

2-3 innings over a long career isnt success. He'd fit enough to bowl in short spells, but just chooses not to do it and uses Root. 

 

Bumrah,Kuldeep all have owned him in India.

Ashwin is an ATG in Indian conditions though. Is Stokes an ATG even in England.

 

Ashwin has improved in Aus though, last BGT he played crucial part. Don't remember Stokes having any impact in Asia so far

He has scored 3000 plus runs and has taken 100 plus wickets.

 

Is he overrated then answer is yes.Can you select him over Flintoff or Botham at home. I don't think you can select him over either of them..
