They've won a world cup without having "figured it out". Imagine what they'll do when they actually figure it out.

They won the toss T20. It was a farce

Yeah things are not looking too good for them.

Starc, Hazelwood, Smith, Khawaja , Zampa, Maxwell , Marsh etc are all on the wrong side of the 30s. Once they all retire in a heap, I guess they will go down considerably. It's sad because world cricket is not interesting at all without a strong Australian team to worry about.

Aussie domestic is a mystery these days,

In the past they used to telecast their domestic one day competions and Sheffield Shield in India as well, people had clue about their upcoming talent

Not the case anymore, perhaps we aren't aware at all who's in the pipeline

They won that "toss up" world cup at Dewbai thanks to Aaron Finch winning 6 out of 7 tosses. The only toss he lost, he was hammered by England by 8 wkts with 6-7 overs to spare.

If panauti Kohli had won all the tosses probably even we would've ended up as winners. The difference between the conditions batting first and second was huge and literally every match (not involving minnows) ended up with chasing team winning.

Also confirmed Perth is a greentop

Gill is a smooth operator... sneaks away at the first sign of trouble

Maybe Rohit should use Gill to assess the pitch and send him out for the toss as he gauges the condition better than the rest of the team put together :giggle:

I for one am happy that there's atleast one format where the Aussies are sucking at and haven't figured out how to play it .

not many top teams gives a lot of thought about T20 cricket. Apart from Pak and WI t20s are still nt top priority for majority of top teams.

Aus has stared looking into it now, with their batting every1 is proper hitter and almost their entire t20 side is multi-skilled.

The thing they lack is t20 kind of bowler or a mystery bowler the reason is their system is too copy-book in terms of bowling. They might start looking for bowlers with non-conventional actions now.

West indies were 136/0 after a mere 9 overs ( :giggle::omg:)chasing 219 against england yesterday .

Dead rubber game though.  Eng hv clinched the series already by winning first 3 games.  Windies hv got power hitters but most of them are hit or miss. Their bowling looks very weak.

They were purposely playing T20 squad in ODI series because of BGT/India A and their domestic would've been incredibly weak if they took more players out.

Australia have figured ODI format out better than any team has figured any format in history.

Auatralia are just too good at cricket. They win trophies for fun

This Aus T20 side was easily beatable. It’s just that the opposition wasn’t good enough in this format.

In the last 5 WT20s, Aus hv managed to reach the SF only once. (Luckily they won it.  It was a toss WC).   They hv faced Group stage exits on most occassions.

Which is why media terming WT20 win vs Aus as 'badla' for WC 2023 was super funny :giggle:

Westindies whitewashed Southafrica 3-0. They are decent under Sammy.
