I wont jusdge Indian batters too much from first match though..its not easy to handle pace and bounce in SAF pitches in first exposure..but expecting more as series progresses..

No they aren't. This is pretty much the same team that beat us in Ahmedabad this time last year minus Head and Marsh. Warner is retired.

Yeah but an Australian ODI side without Warner and Head is a completely different ODI side. 

 

Would have struggled to make semis last year.

India can lose 5-0 and each Test by an innings and we'll still be ahead of Pakistan,.who have lost 17 consecutive Tests in Australia. Let's not get ahead of ourselves now.

Watched the highlights.  Pak dropped 3 easy catches.  Otherwise Aus would hv folded for < 100.

 

Aus lineup without Head and Marsh is minnow level. Despite flat patta.

 

Aus doing the same mistake which Ind is doing.  Old washed up players (>35) like Maxwell, Smith, Starc etc should be dropped.

We lost to labucaghane, steve smith in ODI final :(

Correction: Smith could not even reach double figure against us in WC2023 Final.  It was Labu-Head partnership of 190 which won them the Final.

Labu is the most overrated HTB Aus hv ever produced.   Highly inflated test avg mainly by bashing tier 2 teams on flat home pitches.  Even in WC2023 Final against us, he continued to score at 50% SR till the end.  It was T Head at the other end who scored at 120 SR and won them the title comfortably. (Took all the pressure off Labu in the chase)
