Only thing common to all the losses across formats is both Rohit and Kohli in the team. Without both of them playing together, the team is doing absolutely fine. Cannot be a mere coincidence. Something definitely gets switched off when they are around in that dressing room. Youngsters coming under pressure, not being able to be themselves, coach and them not being on the same page - could be anything but it's clearly not good for our cricket.

This is a very good point.

Today is another example why GG is such a useless coach.

Whatever India has won , it has done overcoming this bozo's mistakes.

Pitch was seaming around like crazy, and this moron picks 3 spinners. Still no Arshdeep, what personal problem does this farzi deshbhakt have with so many deserving players?

We are losing matches and the main reason is gg playing 11 selection

Yes, what is the need of so much experimentation 3 months before the world cup???
Why is Harshit Rana suddenly in scheme of things?? Arshdeep dropped??
Gill has messed up the entire balance. Why is GG tolerating that?

In India, we defintely need two capable pacers and Harshit is not one of them.

Just play Bumrah, Arshdeep and Varun as 3 main bowlers.
Axar and Pandya can take care of all rounder duty.
One or two of the top 6 batters can cover as 6th bowler, if need.

Bumrah, Arshdeep, Pandya, Varun & Axar is a decent attack for the home world cup.

Gambhir on the ODI series loss

"It is not about the individual performances. I can be happy with them, but ultimately, we lost the ODI series. I can never celebrate a series loss as a coach""

Presided over the loss against NZ. A whitewash infact.

Lost a odi series against SL.

Both are what a champion team is expected to win.

I see bowling becoming more toothless with Gambhir set on bringing harshit Rana etc in. He might end up reaping rewards of what previous coaches have done but you will be remembered more as to what team you've left behind when his term is done.

Think specialist coaches should be the flavour of the day now with Bharat Arun rather than the politician like Gambhir.
