G_B_ Posted October 8, 2025 Posted October 8, 2025 I think j20 deliveries + this effective upgrade for f16 suggests pak are looking at a 2028 timeframe to cause trouble. They will target the time around the lok sabha next to show Modiji in a poor light. They will do an attack and expect india to respond, (our 0.5 front will heap pressure to respond immediately) sit back and then extract mistakes. India needs to devise strategies from unkown men hitting back within pak to turning off indus waters to military. We cant simply target militant sites. Turning off indus water is most deadly and will force pak military to strike to show their quam. Easier said than done though diverting water. ravishingravi 1

By 2028 I hope, we will have a strong squad of Super Sukhoi, Rafales & Tejas mk1a, boosted by Astra 1 and 2. Gandiv may be touch and go. S400 and Few Su57 too will rule the skies. If we will be able to crack the lock of Kaveri 2.0 and Ghatak UCAV..it will give us indigenous capability to deliver engines without relying on others.

I think we will have 24 tejas m1a and 50 sukhois coverted to super sukhoi standard. Thats it. I expect astra 2 or the r37m to be there. Neither france or russia have capacity to deliver birds
IndianRenegade Posted October 8, 2025 Posted October 8, 2025 Samosa cacus finally wakes up... with a useless letter that won't go anywhere.

Threaten India's industrial giants. Thing is that this is not going to 2028. It will be decided in next 1-2 years Max. Expecting the first salvo anytime now. G_B_ and randomGuy 1 1

I hope I am wrong but it is looking like that.

Astra 1 is redundant and 2 won't be able to take on this advanced range American BVR Missiles...and will be outgunned and outranged. Gandiva is 5 years away minimum India needs R37M on its Sukhoi platforms upto 2028 at least. Su57 also will come beyond 2030. Focus on Missile inventory and Indigenous Missiles. Rudram 2/3 on Sukhois would be dope.

If we successfully blow away their airbases and runways with our surface to surface missiles like Brahmos, Scalp or Rampage, PAF will be out of depth. Pak dont have strategic depth to avoid Indian Missiles.
G_B_ Posted October 9, 2025 Posted October 9, 2025 See its not all doom and gloom. India is deploying its own fixes for mig29k and this includes our own radars (better spec than russians). I expect all 40 navy mig29k to be available by 2028. These mig29k were very good in skirmish with china in the thin air. Plan is to move them to iaf by 2030. Rafales will also be better integrated with meteor. Pinaka 120km too should be there.
singhvivek141 Posted October 9, 2025 Posted October 9, 2025 There are reports of new military infra coming up in PoK, Samba sector. Seems Munir and co are indeed planning to have a large scale provocation against India. Emboldened by US at their side. Forces are on alert....but if any firing happens...I would expect Indian govt to crush Pakistan massively with no restraint. Unless we dont do that, this problem will never go away. A strong, agile and brisk attack on HQ, Rawalpindi and on the military assets will frustrate their civilians even more. Already it took lot of suppression effort from Pak army to crush the voices post Op Sindoor.

It won't look cool and otherwise but in the end effective method to neutralize their assets on ground. A2S Missiles are working perfectly. Israeli Rampage probably would be bought in huge numbers. They are cheaper (though damage is lesser) sorta high velocity rockets. Scalp is rumoured to be in short supply and remains to be seen if French have given us more of them. That's why Rudram 2/3 should be fasttracked as well.

Akhnoor, Kotli are their advantageous sectors across IB and LoC.

Infact, they always have this feeling due to their hyperbole and loud mouth...plus traditionally US supports them. India, on the other hand always underreports and hide their actual capability. Which give false confidence to Pak. Anyway, I am hoping there must be a secret weapon which India hasn't shown it. That secret weapon can be our game changer.

Countries having some secret weapons is no big deal... India and Pakistan both likely hold bioweapons as well... In fact I remember Pakistan's Lt. Gen Khalid Kidwai Head of the organisation that oversees Pakistan’s nuclear command and control system accidentally revealed in 2023 that Pakistans nuclear weapons have coverage in two dimensions both horizontal & vertical with range from 0 meters to 2750 km. The 0 meter weapons are nuclear artillery shells that they call TNWs. He had to withdraw the statement later. Probably got bashed by higher ups to reveal that info in public domain. ORF also had a brief article about it. Edited October 9, 2025 by Lone Wolf

India has not shown any intent to wage a sustained kinetic war. Pak knows this and always retaliates knowing that after trading a few early blows with each other India will back out. This is why Pak never ever fears us despite being much weaker and smaller. G_B_ 1
G_B_ Posted October 9, 2025 Posted October 9, 2025 I think india also looking at lora (unfortunate name) as a stop gap to brahmos 2. 400km supersonic. Should be inducted at mass scale. As @Lone Wolf said strategy needs to evolve to targetting paf bases with missiles. With 1000km brahmos 2 i think we can easily do it. But lora is an effective stop gap.

But lora is an effective stop gap. As Brahmos 2 is far far away... Looking at Short term we got to see it that way, Pakistani AF has 12 Major operating base & only 6 of their forward operating base concern us. For each base keeping a mix of 15x Pralay, 30x Brahmos (both Air and Surface launched), 30x Rudram/LORA/Rampage & suitable numbers of larger calibre long range pinaka. Even if 60% of each of the above are intercepted (don't think they will even do it with 30%)... still all these bases will be rendered nonoperational... partially destroyed... & this can be done within few hours through conventional means. Provided there is no nonsense of not attacking Pakistani military assets from top brass. Edited October 9, 2025 by Lone Wolf G_B_ 1
