Made sense for Armenians to do a peace deal.

Azeris are much more powerful than them & have many allies.

But they won't stop arming themselves.  They can't afford expensive stuff but Indian stuff is lot cheaper than western maal comparatively even if untested.

Atmnirbhar Armenia chalta rahega.

Armenia went into some agreement with coffee_rules country today.

Looks like Trump is now giving olive branch to India by todays tweet. If I understood it, He is trying to make people understand why he has taken the position he took , And signalling Delhi that whatever deal is in table is nearly good enough to be signed by him, just little reduction in rate charged by Indians would be good , but Negotiated Trade Deal is there to be signed now

That’s not how geo politics work, how many times did Indian PMs visit Pak PMs & dictators after they killed scores of our ppl.

I know but I have a hard view on this. If any PM  has visited Pak in that capacity, then they are wrong. They or India have faced the consequences

Modi is scheduled to visit New York in September (for UN-related events). I think if nothing comes out of that, then expect a sort of cold war between usa and india. If Modi just talks to Trump then fair enough there is a way forward. But if no talks happen i think India needs to assume a stance of CTBT related sanctions.

Keep in mind, India has not imposed any retaliatory tariffs on US goods. This is the right strategy. Just ignore Trump and work under the assumption of a 100% tariff. Not much difference in impact of 50% or 100%. Just dont engage and wait for the midterms. Engage Europe with an FTA.

Its also good that Modi has nearly 4 years before the next election with only Bihar (low key for BJP given Nitish is CM face) coming up.

Looking at how the opposition justified the Navarro rants suggests that the deep state is 100% with the opposition. It's just out in the open.

In a way it's good you have people like Peter Navarro. It raises no doubt. Rubio tried to cover things up but I am confident Navarro will keep ranting away.

We need to stop labelling opposing voices as Pakistani, Khalistani etc. Sheep like behavior only helps powers that be in shedding accountability.

After what happened in Galwan, Sindoor, people have every right to be wary of China/Xi. We have a certain history with them.

Argue the points, not the person making them. Else ignore option is always there.

@pkmmamks hates Pakistanis more than most here.

It's the pattern of posting. Not the fact that he opposes. Ppl like Straighttalk and others oppose the govt as well. But they engage in discussion. They don't devolve into emoji based posts that have no content other than to troll.

I can sniff out Pakistanis because of my long time in forums/SM. He isn't one of them.

Posting style sabka alag alag hai, not everyone may have the time or energy to type out long posts.

Counter to Trump tweet.

Projecting US as the greatest victim of india in trade . Dramatising. Fact is:

US deficit with China is $ 270b,

With EU $ 161 b, with Mexico $ 157b, with Vietnam $ 113.1b, with Taiwan $67.4b, with Japan $ 62.6b, with South Korea $ 60.2b, Canada 54.8b, Thailand $ 41.5b, India 41.5 b.

Usual untruth.

India- US trade in services was

about $83.4 billion, with U.S. services exports to India at $41.8 billion and U.S. $ 41.6b.

Total disaster?

India- US defence trade was virtually nil in2000. It has touched a total of almost $ 22 b in2024.

There are two way to read his tweet:

1. As a justification for the trade war against India, which was seen as an ally till now on a bi partisan basis. Apart from the trade figures, he is also factually wrong on arms purchases, in the last decade India has bought more US weapons than Russian. He is only right on oil, that is also because of the war. If the war stopped & Russian oil was kosher again & returned to normal pricing we will not buy as much Russian oil.

2. The latter part seems to talk about Indian offer, while this is nothing new as this seems to have been the Indian offer for some time he might be saying he expects more.

3. The other reading is, it is a setup to announce a deal, saying how bad things were, India was taking advantage of US. I have made a great deal & got all these concessions.

I am leaning towards the 1st interpretation as Navarro is still attacking India daily.

Dhankar Kaanspiracy theory maybe right then??

Top brass proactiveness might have sabotaged the timeline

For me, China has to do some major stunt now to make India go back to US. As things stand, India is simply laying low while everyone in trump admin loses their head. Once they start talking about H1 Bs, you know they have hit the panic button.

In my view, Modi will take a back seat in next couple of years. Attack is coming on various fronts. He has to take another position to see India through this phase.

In fact, this maybe the best time to attack Pakistan. Trump and his cronies have played the peace card too long. They can't dump on India any further. China is on paper trying to reconcile with India. Best time to beat the **** out of Pakistani.

An all out war is not favorable right now.  To be sure India should go for land grab in PoK and capture few strategic passes and locations it would need a super massive worldwide distraction.

China going after Taiwan is perfect example.

Taiwan is cooked in the short term anyway...this would be the ideal time to make some inroads into PoK.

2027 was the year given by US Intelligence few years back.

We can scale our wartime capability in the meantime.  I know most of our defense acquisition won't be ready by then but Even Pakistan won't have a lot of military hardware in a short span.
