ravishingravi
2008 I was in sheer anger, not just that it happened miles from where I was, but the fact that there were no consequences. Cut to 2024, I guess if India had acted and conducted relentless pursuit to kill terrorists, we would have been genocidal maniacs as per modern standards among dimwits in west. True horror and terror of the day cannot be conveyed in words. Terror attacks were not abnormal. We used to have one every 6 months. But the terror here was porous nature of water borders, targetting of civilians, fact that it took 3 days to get in forces and get rid of the pest, fact that a friend of mine on first floor of Leopold was trying to reach me but couldn't ( He survived ). Sheer helplessness. There can be many complaints of Modi govt. But this has been the biggest plus. Citizens feel safer in most parts of India esp big city. Now when I think of it, the period from 2004 to 2015 feels like a bad dream. PS there was a not so concerted attempt to nail 26/11 on RSS by Congress. RG conveyed to Obama that his biggest fear is hindu terror. Edited November 26 by ravishingravi G_B_, sandeep and BacktoCricaddict 1

Vicks57
Same thing is happening in Manipur. Christian Missionaries are working full time to show the Manipur conflict as religious violence rather than ethnic conflict. I saw "Save Manipur Christians" posters outside St.Philomena Church back in 2023. Just imagine the amount of brainwashing that happens in churches. I don't see no difference between a church and a madrassa. Both christianity and Islam are just tools of colonisation. Unfortunately, even RW hindus support christianity just to appease the white man. This goes all the way to Vivek Ramaswamy who keeps reiterating that Hinduism and christianity share values. I am planning to post a new thread on this topic. Being tamil, I am very familiar with Christian missionaries and their tactics. coffee_rules
Numero uno city of India and this was our preparedness- ASI with lathis fighting terrorists with AK47s. Feeling so sad reading this today! Om Shanti ! Tukaram Omble https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tukaram_Omble A shootout ensued and Khan was killed. Kasab lay motionless playing dead. Assistant Sub-InspectorTukaram Omble, armed only with a lathi (bamboo stick), charged the vehicle, being shot five times. Omble held onto Kasab's weapon, enabling Omble's colleagues to capture Kasab alive.[35][36]Omble died from the bullet wounds.[3 Edited November 26 by coffee_rules sandeep, Laaloo, Vicks57 and 1 other 1 1
BacktoCricaddict
One of the saddest days ever. Bravehearts Karkare, Omble, Salaskar and Kamte were all exposed to the terrorists with no support. I will never understand. coffee_rules
