We need to get them out quickly and since our pacers are useless ..I think let's go with spinners...who can bat and lengthen our batting and keep our strike bowlers fresh

Horse for courses...they are more there for batting ar duties...that's all..Sydney and Melbourne might be more batting suited..but yeah we are badly missing a fourth seamer as reddya s good as he is in batting is more of a 6th bowler

If TM realizes that Indian team is not Rohit and Kohli 'baap ke team', they should drop them both - bring in Jurel and Sundar and get ready for Melbourne with energy of youth.

Paddikal, Sarfaraz, Jurel,Prasidh, Harshit ,Eashwaran, Akashdeep should play the last 2 test.

The side that lost the first match is playing a settled side in every match apart from injury related changes. In contrast, everyone wants India to keep chopping and changing after every match.

Both teams will like go in 1-1 into the final 2 tests and both have their share of underperfming batsmen. I would stick with the same side as is unless Siraj is carring a niggle and bring in Harshit. Too much change signals panic to the opposition.

you need one rated spinner down under, no matter what the conditions. that bowler is ashwin. then you need 3 pacemen. then you need 6 batsmen including jadeja. and of course the wk. it's not difficult yet we fcuk it up every time. we were forced into this combination in Sydney 2021 and it worked great

3 pacemen only works if they are starc, Hazelwood and Cummins. We have only one world class pacer in Bumrah. So we have to play 4 for them to be effective because it's the pacers that will win you a series in Australia, England, SA, New Zealand. If pacers are ineffective, no matter what spinner or batting line you pick, you are doomed.

If 2 pacers apart from Bumrah are trash, what will the 3rd one will do?Hes gonna be even worse.

Virat and Rohit will play in the matches and they will.decide which match they will play or they will skip.

 

For the team to accommodate them ,the team management will have to.make the batting strong. 

 

Underperforming Gill and Rahul has made the perfomance of the batting unit very bad.

 

Add to the woes,Jaiswal is also not scoring much. 

 

So the team management will have to make Jaiswal and Gill the scapegoat and select either Paddikal, Eashwaran, Jurel, Sarfaraz  in the team,otherwise this batting unit will not score even 150 in any inning.

 

The top order batsman will have to complement the lower order batsman ie Reddy, Jadeja, Ashwin, Sundar,Akashdeep, Bumrah to score above 150.

 

If the top order can contribute 100 runs among them the lower order can score more than 150.

Lets start with the assumption that seniors are not getting dropped. Only way for that to happen is if Rohit himself retires like Dhoni.

Additional pacer can help Bumrah to not do all the donkey work by himself and bowl with the same pace & intensity for which he is known for.

 

Plus, it will also not give opportunity to Auzzie batters, as they won't have tired legs to feed on. Head and Smith both used the inexperience of Nitish & ineffectiveness of Jadeja to the fullest.
