this guy should stop keeping asap and focus on batting. He looks strong so can take up

fastish offspin if required.

Ind needs wkt keeper batter too, so far none has worked, Pant struglled with SR at all positions, Kishan can only open, do not think he is intnl quality.

Jitesh also looked out of water when facing decent quality bowling.

Samson has some recent success but can he play same way can he do it if he is not opening the innings.

they will be judged by their ability to keep than batting.. 4/5 years are lost there... and he has to overcome the players you shared so makes sense to try as a batter

Even if they pin-down Samson for next ICC event, they still need a 2nd keeper. Jitesh do not seem to be right option. Pant and Ishan are not the answer either.

There are few keeper batter who have been decent in domestic - Patel, Porel, Galwi .

Pant can work in ODI's.

T20 is where he struggle coz he has to score against an open field with limited overs in hand.

Pant is good in ODIs. Jurel can be tried too.

If some1 starts performing in T20is, it will make it hard for Pant (if he in Odis) keep his place in 11. It will keep him under pressure for his spot in the team.

There is v.large sample size to conclude that pant has and will struggle in T20is for SR.
