Lahore under lights can be a ridiculously easy pitch to bat on. Ijaz Ahmed and Afridi butchered us at 8.3 rpo way back in 97!

 

NZ could well be 30 runs short of s safe score.

Then added off-spin. Now plays as genuine allrounder and NZ keeps 2 different keepers as they do not want to lose him as out-fielder and an off-spinning option.

 

He could be top 5 fastest out-field fielder

All Pak pitches are the best wkt for batter, only now to get some wins in test they started creating spinning track.

That also caused pak team a match against wi.

you are comparing Khushdil Shah and Salman agha with Ijaz Ahmed and Afridi in prime. 
also that was in 1997. This is 2025. Rourke Matt Henry Ben Sears Santner I m

sure is better than indias bowling line up of Abey Kuruvilla, Debu Mohanty,Sourav Ganguly, Tobin Singh and Bajesh Chauhan..

have a theory why nz is always kept in Ind-pak group. They cannot keep all4 sena teams in 1 group then who they put in Ind-pak group ??

Both Ind and Pak would think they can beat NZ rather than taking their chances with SA, Eng and Aus and if NZ goes out of the 1st round there is no out-cry.

 

But NZ in recent times start having upper hand in ICC events against ind

It was one of the best chasing venues in the world even back then.

i will be shocked if Pakistan even get 300,i believe they lost Saim who was their best player.they dont have players who can hit big.

Only fakkar can get pak to 300+ chase against full strngth teams. Else pitch has to be v,flat and fielding has to be poor
