In odi hacks who score once in 25 matches like Livingstone add no value to the team.Their secondary skill is useless.

 

I thought Brook was genuine talent, looks like hack against spin.

This is another gift of Bazball to English cricket.Overestimating the talent of hacks and asking the best batsman to bat at number 4 and captain to bat at 6.

 

They had to depend on their tailenders in every match to bat out overs. This bozo thinks he is a genius.

It's alright they won a T20 WC just 2 years back.

 

They are investing in newer crop like Jamie Smith Brook Bethell etc.  They will be serious contenders next ODI WC in SA.

 

The bowling cost them here.  Archer Wood failed to step up. Carse got injured.

Some geniuses were saying Butler is great, he is batting tough overs.Batting in top order is easy.

 

We don't need great Butler, we need selfish superstars who make sure team atleast bats 50 overs in most matches.

 

Odis are not an extension of t20s.You need some batting ability to build innings.

They are lacking someone like Morgan in the middle and Roy uptop

Morgan especially who besides hitting could anchor as well

Line up is too right hand dominated.  Bettell kid is too raw atm.  Just graduated from U19.  If he finds his footing he will be ideal no 4.

 

Still believe Jamie Smith is astonishingly talented & he can keep.  Needs some more exposure.  He will belt us in the Test series this summer.

 

They picked wrong Pacers for these conditions.  A tall left armer like Topley would have served his purpose. Liam Dawson over Tulla Livingstone.

Indian team went to knockout stages in every tournament in all conditions in last decade.They just did not win more knockout matches.

2015/16 India wasn't good on super high scoring pattas.

 

2019 SF, conditions did play a major role.

India has maintained a similar core since 2015.

It took a while from us to move on from Boobie.

The failure to invest in younger talent cost India major ICC titles that they should have won.  Continuing to open with Rohit Shikhar Rahane in T20 WC's was a massive blunder.  Sticking with Boobie Ashwin Jadeja.

 

No team celebrated mediocrity more than Indian team despite bench being ready.
