Shami took 3 today. Even Dwarshius, Ellis did well. There is enough for pacers

 

Aus also went with 4 spinners and lost today.

Why? Rohit gives you more value than Kuldeep. Kuldeep's anyway useless in big matches. I would rather we bat till 9 to cover for our shaky top order and spinners who're not mental midgets.

The quality of spinners and the batters is the difference. Neither NZ or SA have the quality of spinners we have. And our batters are much better at playing spin. Imagine Rickleton and other batters against our spinners instead of pacers.

 

This is the venue to play loads of spinners. Let's do that instead of bringing SA or NZ in the match by feediing them pace and shortening our batting lineup.

If he fails in CT Final, I would move on from him. We don't people who fill their boots when things are easy. We want big game players. Gill has been useless in big matches so far.

Don't see any point behind changing a team that has won back to back games. Trust kuldeep to come good.

They made him VC. Same for KL, they made him VC and C as well and he kept failing. Hopefully he delivers on Sunday too. Shreyas Iyer has redeemed as well, came back as a bigger player. Gill is not a natural white ball cricket player, hits 100s in group stages or bi-laterals.

With Klassen get another pacer..will have nowhere to hide if he gets set with four spinner...drop Kuldeep get Rana in

On this pitch and spinners like Varun, we'll be good. Kuldeep is the one who will struggle so better to replace him with Sundar. 3 pace options are too much - just for Klassen. 2 pacers and 4 spinners are the way to go and preferably Sundar in place of Kuldeep.

 

Imagine the depth we'll have if we've Sundar batting at 9!

They might go with Harshit or Arshdeep if at all they want to replace kuldeep. Ball was giving some help for seamers.

If Hardik's injured we're doomed. He's the one who holds the team together. If Pandya's injured he'll need to be replaced by Arshdeep or Harshit as you need 2 pacers. And then you have to replace Kuldeep with Sundar to strengthen the batting. We can't have 4 bowlers with no batting down the order.
