Yes , now, Jurel should be given some chances instead of these two

He made a 66. He was probably one who that looked good. Jurel was never no.3 for his state. How the heck he gets to play at 3.  Sai is an opener by trade.

Even if we drop him who replaced him.

Sai was least of our problem this test more than him Jaiswal needs to be talked to,

He is the one who is failing us continuosly on what you call as flat conditions and the whole lot of injured bowlers

Jaiswal even if he scores nothing next test, he is just fine.He will have his lumps as he grows in international cricket.

Sai on other hand , I dont think he is good enough. He wil get next test to prove himself as there is no one else to replace him.

I would have loved to see Tilak Verma batting at number 3 in this series.

He just doesnt seem to have the technique for a no.3 bat. Will likely fail more often than not in SENA..

WV Raman  talked about his alignment issue. Through off side he is good enough. But when it comes to on side strokes his head falls over. Against spin he camps too much on the backfoot an approach that works for him in white ball.

How does he keep getting chances in test side?

It's just GG digging his heels in. They selected him on a whim based on IPL performances. Now that he is there, they *have to* give him a long rope.

Because selector and GG are idiots who are keeping out a decent batsman out on vengeance against Muslim player.

If was a good player of spin we could have made it work but he is really bad against spin with suspect technique.

Ashwin's first impression about Sai 3 or 4 years back was about his ability to dominate spin  from the way he handled Ashwin by placin ghte ball at will.  I don't think he is bad against spin. But he has sure picked up bad habits in T20. One habit in order to rotate strike he goes back to every ball and tickles the ball around. In Tests he is being overly defensive for no reason against spin.  When he attacks he is as good as anyone. It is only when he goes all out defense he is found wanting. If he starts dealing with full half vollies instead of defending bowlers can be thrown off.

we have seen him going back to play defensive shots, that is a big no-no on turners when you know one will turn too much or wont turn that much,he needs to use his front foot.

Yea.. he is very good when he is positive against spin. He has dominated some very good bowlers. THere are a few technical weaknesses he has to fix before playing Tests. Now they are goign to back him fully no matter what, he better addresses these issue. WV Raman correctly showed what his issues are. No.3 is probably the most difficult batting position in Tests. Almost every team in the world is experimenting. It is a tough position for him to learn on the job. He should have 2 full domestic seasons and come back.
