Rayudu always has his nose stuck in Dhoni's arse

One thing I've to give to Dhoni... he generates this insane loyalty amongst his peers. Generally everyone will come up with false platitudes for star players such as Kohli, Rohit, Dhoni etc. to get in their good books, i.e. the good old chaploosi. But in Dhoni's case a number of such comments seem genuine. If you hear Rayudu, Raina, Kedar Jadhav, Murli Vijay, Deepak Chahar or some other players talk about Dhoni, they seem to be genuine about their praise. Don't see the same with Rohit and especially Kohli.

Can't understand it myself but it does explain how he was able to take so many cr@ppy CSK teams (2023 one is an example) and win with them, and also get the best out of players.

He has an Aura of a leader , kinda like jose Mourinho in football. Both current and ex players love them.

Definitely one of the best man manager I've seen. IMO this is what selectors should be looking for when selecting a captain instead of going with the best player like Kohli. Kohli has none of these qualities and can't take the team forward or bring everyone together and it showed both at RCB and when he was Indian captain.

Iyer seems to have that quality of bringing the team closer and getting the best out of them. Shows the way he has taken KKR, DC and now PK to the top. And 2 of those franchises (DC and PK) were bottom dwellers. BCCI needs to acknowledge this and give him white-ball captaincy. SKY's good but he's only the T20 captain plus his performances are going down alarmingly.
