2025 Asia Cup and Women's WC: big decisions to be made

As per FTP both should have been hosted by India. But then talks of Asia Cup shifting to UAE/SL emerged, due to that useless, chirkut country's opposition.

 

Women's WC to be hosted in India but complication now due to Pak qualifying and demand for neutral venue. 

 

What should be done now?

 

My view is either cancel Asia Cup or remove the problematic countries. India should host it and make it a raging success to show the eastern and western neighbors their place. Nepal and one of the ME countries should get the spotlight and gradually push out the 2 troublemakers. 

 

Women's WC, no question of hosting Pak....kick them out and select the next best team from qualifiers. If goras whine and cry, pull out of all ICC events and show how the market works. 

 

In next 5-10 years, all efforts must be made to remove Pak (and BD if the trend continues) from the cricket world.

We can't do such things in hockey, athletics etc. because those sports don't make nearly as much money and we are a small player in their international federations. 

 

But cricket, we hold all aces.

Asia Cup should happen without Pakistan.

Invite Zimbabwe Ireland Scotland as their replacement.

Make it bigger and better.

 

All these countries have probably better T20 players than pakistan already.

 

Cancellation and hybrid model would be BCCI acting as a cuck as it is our time to host this.

Why not invite RSA, Zim, Nam/Uganda and make it Afro-Asian Cup?

 

We had Afro-Asian Games in 2003 which was super fun to follow (still remember the hockey event where we twice beat Sohail Abbas led Pak including final). We can always invent cutoffs to keep Pooks and Kanglus out.....anyway Afghans and Lankans are better T20 teams.

 

3 of the best from Asia, 3 from Africa. Bring it on. Next edition can be hosted in RSA.

Just say India will not participate in any tournament involving Pakistan as Indian government won't allow passports etc as well as Indian companies will not be able to finance/broadcast any tournaments/series with Pakistan as Indian government won't allow. That it is not in the hands of BCCI, Indian companies but government.

 

That's an immediate removal of Pakistan from cricket.

The government can just order BCCI not to play. Just give them no NOC.

Nope. No free points. I would rather kick their @sses. Giving them free points is like we're rewarding them and would be setting a wrong precedence. What's the incentive for them to change if they get free points?

 

Also, if we're playing against them in knockouts, why not earlier? This would look odd. Either we play or we don't. This playing only in knockouts looks extremely hypocritical and inconsistent.

 

I'm all for no bilateral ties, putting more pressure in other leagues (Hundred, T20 Blast, CPL, SA20 etc.) wherever we've influence to not to pick Pak players. Isolate them and even put pressure on intl players not to play in PSL else they won't be considered for IPL. But kick their behinds in ICC tournies.

 

Edit: I say isolate Pak and time for BCCI to do what Pak folks always claim they do, i.e. undermine Pak cricket. Time to do it seriously now. Don't pick any Pak players in T20 leagues and force others to do the same. Time to hit them where it hurts. Enough of p***y footing and time to be vindictive for once.

The solution is to put Ind & Pak in different groups.  Chances of a KO clash are remote as Pak are a minnow level team (with high chance of group stage exit) these days.  Gifting free points to them is a step backwards & only shows that we are submissive.

Also of concern is the hockey Asia Cup to be hosted in Rajgir (Bihar) in August. 

 

Winner there gets automatic qualification to next year's WC in Netherlands/Belgium.

First things first. Mens t20 World Cup is what matters. India Pak need to be in same group. All Pak matches in India. India - Pak match in some extremely hostile city. If they come we beat the shi-t out of them else they can stay home.

If Russia can be kept out of international sports (even where they are allowed they can't play with their flag or anthem), why make exception for Pak? At least in cricket, ban them completely. Foreigners who associate themselves with that rogue nation should be treated the way WI rebels were when they toured apartheid South Africa.

Vishesh samuday will make sure Pakistan will get "warm reception" in any Indian city. We have a lot of ungrateful low class rats in our society that have love and affection towards their spiritual homeland to the west.
