From the wording of Iyer Mitra it seems IAF have said the ones involved in the operation are all fine and have returned... but we may have lost a jet in the retaliatory attacks

Shiv Aroor might also be suggesting that, atleast I think the pilot has survived

Seems that we might have lost a Mirage 2000.

Conflicting reports that a JF17 was shot down as well. Who knows what the Chinese copied from Mirage for their fighter jets. So it could just be the JF17 being mistaken for a Mirage.

Yeah in the grand scheme of things a few jets lost, especially a mirage 2000, is no biggy as long as the pilots lives are not lost

But I hope we can come back with more, atleast there are suggestions this was just phase 1.

Yeah I expect Pak mil to do something stupid.  Pray for Jammu especially.  They are in direct line of fire.

we probably lost a couple of planes in the aftermath seems like.  While not ideal, its ok, especially if all pilots are ok - IAF sources are leaking that all pilots are safe.  but only asserting that all planes involved in Op Sindoor are accounted for.

Doesn't matter.

Bottomline, PakMil needed to receive public consequences for Pahalgam. Which they have.

Now to manage the retaliation and subsequent escalation.
