There is no point adding ineffectual bowlers to make up the numbers. India would be better served by having Kuldeep in the side as a genuine wickettaker rather than a trundler just to make up a seamer quota.

Yes if pitches are grass free, kuldeep will do well against the lower order.

Also look at what England are doing. Regardless of conditions, they are certain to play Bashir who is not on the same planet as Kuleep as a spinner and wicket taker. All he does is bowl long spells to allow their seamers to rest and rotate without giving too many runs away. Kuleep should be able to do a lot more than that.

Reddy should play ahead of Shardul ( shardul is not at his prime).

if coach feels Reddy is not bowling well then, we should play 4 Pacers and Jaddu.

4th Pacer can be Harshit Or Arshdeep.

Sarfaraz isn't in the test squad. Players who are in test squad are playing.

We have Jadeja for the role bashir is doing. Bashir is a lone spinner, kuldeep will play as second spinner so no comparison between the two.

Reddy at #6 and Shardul at #7 is one position too high for both of them .

his fate was sealed wen he didnt make the Test Squad,i hope he is the first one who gets in if we have an injured batter.

Without Kohli and Rohit, he was a shoo-in, esp when he is slotted to open in Eng. He did a decent job in the series we squared 2-2 last time. He also did ok in SA. Since the SA series, he was made captain and it all went down for him. He will not be playing in the MO as a wkt-keeper bat for sure.
