Dayal seems like TM doesn't rates him.  Khaleel is preferred as backup for Arshdeep.

 

Kuldeep Sen is a massive loss... Dude has everything really

Watched him bowl in Centurion Test..  it was a traumatic experience.  He was Horrific.

 

Indian fans are mostly nostalgic.  4-5 years is a huge gap.  That guy is not same anymore.  2 overs in and he will Start bowling pies.  No stamina at all to sustain half decent pace

Kuldeep Sen and Tyagi are even not preferred by their IPL teams as well as their states team.

Kuldeep, Kartik , Mohsin all have higher ceilings than anyone on show but it doesn't necessarily translate into better bowling, unfortunately.

It would be a shame. Based on what Thakur has shown with bat and ball so far, this 2025 version doesn't  belong anywhere near an international side
