After poor BGT, siraj was dropped but again comes back based on some rejuvenation in IPL. He is not cutout for test currently due to poor fitness. Cannot maintain intensity for long.

Dropped in a different format. Anyway we didn't need fast bowlers in those Dubai pitches.

siraj and rana try to make something happen every ball. fast bowling is about having a system that delivers over a spell. shami had that quality and so does prasidh. he looks to have the perfect temperament but not the skill - yet.

Harshit Rana was selected as a cover .Bumrah played in 1st test.Now Bumrah is not playing in 2nd test.Harshit has been released from squad

Yeah, will be unfair to Sai and Karun to get ousted after 1 match.

The next test will probably be Karun's last chance.  

 

Thakur is done. Should be replaced by Nitish/Sundar/Kuldeep

There's an article now on espncricinfo where Ten doeschate discusses Eleven with or without Bumrah. My goodness I got a headache reading all the "if this then that" overthinking going on with this TM. If no rain, if no flat pitch, if result likely, if Oval was round, if Machester is hot, if porridge for breakfast and chicken Tikka masala for dinner, ... .. then yes, if not no. Total paagalpan.

India are expected to replace their n Sai Sudharsan with an , Washington Sundar, who is expected to bat late down the order. The two other changes are – Nitish Reddy for Shardul Thakur and Akash Deep in place of Jasprit Bumrah

Bumrah taking a break after just one test is senseless especially when there was more than one week gap between tests. Anyway, his presence or absence didn't make a difference in the end result in the first day. He couldn't do anything to defend 370.
