So our shameless ex cricketers like Yuvraj Singh will play against Shahid Afridi led Pakistan this sunday in Edgbaston in the name of legends cricket tournament. Surely Govt should stop this?

Surprised by miniscule amount of outrage over it.  Absolute hypocrisy from these shooperstars.

@MechEng @Lone Wolf @Lord @pkmmamks @coffee_rules, happening exactly as we predicted in the Sindoor thread. I am glad the operation was called off and army didn't have to suffer more losses/damages. Onus on nationalism and sacrifice shouldn't rest just on their shoulders. 

 

Playing this stupid tournament won't affect our Olympics hosting chances in any way. Then why are we? This match will just fill pockets and raise profiles of hatemongers like Afridi and Sohail Tanvir. At a time they must be boycotted/shunned, they will be given the luxuries of Indian market.

Enmity with Pakistan is only for our brave armed forces. Rest of Indian wants to be chummy with them. I really thought the haunting images from Pahalgam, the videos captured would have been the final straw that broke the camel's back. That finally hamare andar ghairat jagegi, we would start treating the enemy like an actual enemy. Alas, things back to normal within couple of months. Until the next big attack, and then drama rinse, repeat.

 

Hope our armed forces refuse to take part in some risky revenge mission like the last 3 times, all their risks/losses/missions have been treated just like entertainment package by our media and public...and of course movie/OTT rights. For GOI this is just part of some image building exercise. All this IWT suspension is also just drama, no concrete action will be taken.

Just saw there is Afretard also in Pak squad..  .If I was Diljit I would demand public apology from MIB

If India doesn't play Championship of Legends, ICC will take action bro, all our revenue will be withheld bro, IPL won't get a window and India will never host another ICC event. Would he have faced backlash if he didn't sport a pagdi or wear Punjabi pride proudly on his sleeve? 

 

To my knowledge, he has never spoken ill of India, proudly waves Indian flag in his concerts, takes pride in India's achievements, heck even Modi met him recently. This Khalistani card is being overplayed by godi media and some nefarious folks/SM accounts close to ruling party, will backfire on us one day if not nipped in the bud. Khalistan hasn't been an Indian problem for decades (unlike say Naxalism or Islamic terrorism), by continuously casting aspersions on our patriotic Sikhs, you are making it easier for propagandists//ISI.

Even Hania for that matter never disrespected Hindu religion, or spoke ill about India.. in comparison with Pak ex players who openly show their bigotry and hatred for Hindus and India.

We are only good at attacking our own citizens and creating divides. We are cowards in front of other nations 

 

And the reason is simple, no party cares for the country, just votes. And vote comes from citizens. Facing against Pakistan needs balls. Which only Indira Gandhi ever had. Creating internal hatred to rule India is easy, everyone from Mughals to British did it.
