I can see why we saw flat pitches before,none of these guys can play spin and for India that is a huge crisis.we already have front foot plonker Gill as the captain so we NEED good players of spin for home Tests

The tournament has been done a huge disservice with the A series being set at the same time , even if Asia cup can't be helped 

 

Been perfectly logical to have A series straight after and include in that squad the best Duleep players. Malewar could have made the A squad 

 

Means teams are shorn of their best players. Wadkar finally gets to play but is forced to open - he isn't an opener. He should be keeping instead of Upendra. Malewar is a no 3 too.

 

This should be India's premier domestic tournament. But it's being held in a venue that isn't even a proper cricket venue and there's a barely any interest

He has been missing from the spotlight for a while now.  Vyshak (of considerably lower speed) has gained traction. Maybe Kaverappa has been injured? I have no idea.

 

Unfortunately, unless Kaverappa stars in the IPL, his red-ball prospects are also bleak.

Kaverappa is of lower speed. Vyashak is faster, can bowl 135+. Kaverappa bowls 125-130 mostly

It takes time... middle order left handers are worth their weight in gold. 

 

How many left handers emerged in Duleep trophy ? None except Yash Rathod & Smaran I think
