But will be cautious when it comes to throwing such serious allegations. Anybody can talk smack on SM, and people blindly believe because it is a channel for them to vent their hatred/frustration. Totally agree, EAM needs to be booted and MEA needs to be cleaned. Jaishankar has 0 understanding of his job. He is the top diplomat, my understanding of the position is to ensure more countries are with you than against you. Jaishankar's understanding of the position is of a college debate captain who represents a country of China's might rather than India's & his mandate is to win debates. He doesn't seem to understand how integrated our economy is with the west or its sphere of influence. There is an answer that highlights India's energy needs for its largely still poor population, how its traditional suppliers are now supplying to EU, how India no longer buys oil from Iran because of sanctions while china does (highligthing china's role with Russia & Iran, while deflecting India's), how it will affect global prices if it stops buy russian oil & highlight the lack of capacity elsewhere, he could also pitch India as a player in the peace effort with Russia, that is an answer which could find symthy as the EU itself buys Russian energy because of it own needs although to a lesser extent than before. But instead he provides snarky answers which gets amplified in social media, winning us no friends in the west which views the Ukr war as a war of russian aggression. Then there is the case of MEA in being in places it shouldn't be, MEA shouldn't have had any job leading the briefing on a Op SIndhoor. MEA single handedly ensured India lost the narrative war, until MOD came in to save the day. Not sure what his input was in handling Trump's credit for CF. But whaever his inputs were, things seems to have gone downhill on that front too. pkmmamks 1
