It doesn’t include MPs. It includes PM or anybody holding an constitutionl office. It will avoid situations like Arvind Kejruddin holding CM’s office even after being in jail for 6 months. Till now , only Congress and UPA  governments has  mainly misused constitutional amendments like Article 356

Kejri in jail for 6 months. Why. Was he convicted. Is he now? Is the case over? You see what can go wrong

Useless law that will be used for political Vendatta by the government in power. 
 

rather enact a law that sentences ppl to life in prison for all corruption & death penalty to any corruption that causes loss of life or corruption beyond a certain $ value.

The law basically says you have to do what Hemant Soren did.... resign before going to jail and become CM again when back on bail. This was unlike kejriwal.

 

Opposition will fear monger. But the proposed law is totally correct.

Bail is given to those who  are not a flight risk (Bhaghoda) or they won’t influence (read threaten) evidence. Do you want to see CM running office from jail, like he did? After he resigned , he was given bail.

There will be fake cases of dowry/rape. It doesn't mean the law is bad. Harish Salve is a constituional lawyer. You can consult him on this law. You can't hold office and be in jail. You have 30 days to get bail. Very simple to understand.

He was sent to jail in farzi case to start with. There is no place for shame in politics.
