It's not a bilateral for Pakistan to make money. The money made by this Match gets distributed between all the teams playing and 20% to ACC. Any tournament that India plays will make money whether we play Pakistan or not.  Only way to hurt Pakistan cricket financially is then to boycott every tournament that Pakistan is playing like World cup, T20 WC, WTC, Asia Cup. It means boycotting all international cricket and play only IPL all year round which you hate.

Will anyday take IPL over playing Pakistan

As many have said, only naming and shaming should be of the current government, particularly Modi and shah, ruling party members and it's minions.on social media who keep distributing patriotism certificates. To a lesser extent, I'll add Gambhir for his hypocrisy.

Imagine SKY having to say no handshake was a Govt and BCCI discussion.

Players did have the option of opting out but then knowing how vindictive the political leadership is, their careers would have ended. When someone like Ganguly was removed unceremoniously, who are mere cricketers but pawns in political gamesmanship.

In fact, I fear SKY may face repercussions for his statements. Definitely not what the top two seem to have been hoping for.

Players have no blame in this. They are employees. Naukri nahi karoge to kho doge.

Anurag Thakur, Je Sa and Saheed Afridi were their together as per some videos on twitter.

To the folks who are chest thumping for not watching the cricket match and showing solidarity, please come with 5 passport photographs and your Aadhar copy on 15th August 2026, Rashtrapati Bhavan sharp at 11 am, and do collect your “Akhil Bhartiya Chutiya Kata Samman” straight from the hands of beloved Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji & Honorary secretary of BCCI Mr Gay Shah.

Classic @rkt.india Always with a contrarian take.

If ICF right now would have been supporting sporting ties and keeping sports out of geopolitics, he’d have taken the opposite view from everyone else and called for a boycott.

Yup very combative passive aggressive poster. Lol
