Bro..you are not intelligent/courageous enough to understand the concepts of civilization, trust and lessons of history.

I want india to raise to her civilizational glory. Currently the state of the country and her citizens is bad. No trust. Highly corrupt. And also infected with small minded thinking that cannot look beyond their caste, region and clan. This is not my criticism. This is said by V.S. Naipaul.

Please be happy in your bubble.

Yea. You must be god's gift to humanity. Got it. If you don't live here nor plan to - shut it. What we do in our country is none of your business. Go back to brownnosing for your pointless existence thinking you are better than others because of where you live. Somehow you are the only one who has understood the concepts of civilization, trust adn lessons of history.

USA is great if you're still working for a living.

There are far better places to live on earth otherwise.

True for most high per capita income countries.

Actually i dearly want to spend some years in UK. But not sure i would find a job here. I hear job market is very  bad in UK.

Don’t come. Weather is shyte. Taxes are very high. Unless you are in some really high paying job (around £100K+) living outside London

I remember someone from

my hometown smirkingly saying he go £36k job as nurse in UK London. I was like, bro u are in for a shock. Have to live in shared accommodation, may be shared room, skip buying tea or coffee, no outdoor eating to survive

Most people are oblivious to the racism.

If you were around after 2001 - you would have heard a lot of sand nigger comments at you. The worst were from the black folks. Of course, most people are willing to put up with it because of their desperation to fit in.

I've stayed in Georgia, Florida and South Carolina. Racism was overt in SC... but more subtle in Georgia and Florida. IMO the worst was in Mass where ppl pretend to be covert. They like to sugarcoat their condescension.

Not to belittle your experiences, but Indians are quite racist themselves. Taunts like madarasi,Lassi, chinki are commonplace. And that's just for fellow countrymen. Black students are treated even worse

So people are allowed to be racist to me because some others are bigots? Not sure what equivalence you are trying to build here.

Also, it was quite ironic when black ppl used to call Indians names like sand nigger. Not sure if you understand what they claim the trauma they have faced with the nigger word in the US. Doesn't stop them from movements like BLM etc. When you say there is a rules based, high trust society things like these go against the entire argument of such things there.

We just keep making justifications to allow others to behave however they choose to with us.

No equivalence. Just your point of coming back to India because of this

My point is that there is nothing called a high-trust society in the US. Perhaps for those sitting in a few cities like the Bay Area/Austin/NY think the rest of the US is like that. It's not.

And reg your point, in your country you can do something about it if you want. It is your country.

As I said earlier, india is not at all suitable for people that value trust, order, inquisitiveness and cleanliness. I am one of them.

For me, 90 percent of India and its people are way below average.

But I do not want to judge others. Some see I do not see.

I agree. US system instill trust order and fairness for most.

It may be becoming a difficult place for Indians now  but otherwise US will remain a top destination for immigrants for the quality of life, work and personal ,it offers

Yes.

West is the greatest civilization that ever was.

India's underperformance is due to her people only. Absolutely no trust at all.

The main issue is that Indian RW is misdiagnosing the problem. They blame everything on outside influence. Like the dumb MAGA crowd.

Watch this space. Indian rupee will reach rs.100 in few years.  This is provided Modi is elected again in 2029.

If Rahul baaba comes, it will crash to rs.150. and rs.200 a decade later.

Singapore too.

For those working in corporate law or finance.

Indians do go there. I just find it to be a concrete jungle with no flavour of life. Everybody is moving like a robot there
