SecondSlip Posted September 21, 2025 Posted September 21, 2025 Enough with this left-right nonsense that Gambhir is obsessed with. Just make Varma our permanent #3 in T20s and enjoy the show. Surya just turned 35 and is finished as an international cricketer. He should not be hogging the #3 spot to himself anymore. Tilak was amazing against South Africa and England at #3!
deathmonger Posted September 22, 2025 Posted September 22, 2025 LR is important though. Completely screws matchups.
Bigg Brother Posted September 22, 2025 Posted September 22, 2025 He is the original replacement of Virat, atleast in T20s. Sky should be discarded after next wt20. He completely screwups the batting line up.. Frustrated 1
bowl_out Posted September 22, 2025 Posted September 22, 2025 Samson should be 3. Top 3 - Abhishek, Jaiswal/Gill (because VC), Samson 4,5,6,7 - SKY, Tilak, Pandya, Dube with flexible batting order 8,9,10,11 - Arshdeep, Bumrah, Kuldeep, Varun. This should be the XI. We should play the extra bowler in place of Axar against better teams.

maniac Posted September 29, 2025 Posted September 29, 2025 Need a big game temperament player in the side. After yesterday, Tilak has to be permanent in every white ball side. The stakes were almost as high as a World Cup final yesterday. I would argue more. if you are just brushing it off as hysteria and drama, and yet another useless match, then you are living in a bubble: We have plenty of talent but need such big match temperament players. We will sail through knockouts to every tournament in the next 5-6 years at least. Need players with this temperament to finish the job . nevada, Lord, Bigg Brother and 2 others 2 3
Downtown Posted September 29, 2025 Posted September 29, 2025 He’s known for his reverse sweeps and innovative strokes. But last night, he stuck to conventional, percentage cricket and took India home. That’s the mark of a great thinker and leader. He’s set to play a crucial role in many of India’s victories in the future.

Suresh Raina does well in IPL play offs compared to Rohit/Kohli. Raising your game in clutch moments.
vvvslaxman Posted September 30, 2025 Posted September 30, 2025 Pakistan female fans are having a crush on Tilak lol

randomGuy Posted September 30, 2025 Posted September 30, 2025 Tilak plays solid cricket even in T20. Great average great strike rate.

He has vastly improved his first class game a reason why he could play that innings. Mostly conventional except when he tried to play the field with sweep shots against Rauf. randomGuy 1

Said multiple times ,he's high skill guy ,one you always want in your side I think he was not this good before. He has consciously improved himself. Infact rapidly improved. Taken his game to next level very quickly. An example for other youngsters especially who are beahving like Prithvi shaw.
