tweaker Posted November 16, 2025 Posted November 16, 2025 Gill should not be rushed for 2nd test and a replacement probably Sarfaraz or Nair should be added to the squad.
Gollum Posted November 16, 2025 Author Posted November 16, 2025 Gill should not be rushed even to the T20 WC, let him recover properly and come back in IPL 2026. rollingstoned and bowl_out 1 1
maniac Posted November 16, 2025 Posted November 16, 2025 When you hurt your neck, pretty much your whole body gets immobile, foolish to expect Gill to come out to bat. It is what it is. You can’t chase 124 with 9 wickets at home and a long batting line up, it’s your damn fault. Cant blame a player for getting genuinely injured.

Federer has played 5 set matches with back and neck spasms, that too in hot/humid Melbourne and NY. Movement is limited, but he has played them. Gill could have come and stood there at one end, but maybe he wanted to protect his average.
Manucrick Posted November 16, 2025 Posted November 16, 2025 Just don't come back gill stay in the hospital till wc over
Gollum Posted November 16, 2025 Author Posted November 16, 2025 Latest reports coming in that MRI scans didn't reveal anything, just a muscle strain, he is improving and that Indian camp expects him to play in Guwahati.

Woakes came to bat with one hand, just to provide a chance for Atkinson to finish the game. Our great kaptaan wouldn't do anything remotely close.
