Their vote share percentage is really high. They might even have got close to the number of votes that the tvk got. It's just fine margins. If he makes missteps, people are going to lose faith in him very quickly.

Wasn't this supposed to be a pretty decent government with double digit growth etc ?

Bjp doesn't want a ruling regional party. So you sabotage them internally. Admk also knows this and they screw you over by not giving vote transfer. I don't have to choose between facts. BJP by gutting down AIADMK with their vendetta against Jayalalitha didn't help matters one bit either. They might get one or two votes here or there but they'll not have a sustained presence in South India. Their brand of development , double engine growth etc won't work here. Bjp in Karnataka is a caste based party and that's the only reason it gets voted in.
