Bhai Sehwag had  gift of timing and Amazing hand eye coordination. 

Vaibhav isn't in the same ball park of a talent as him. 

 

I have rarely seen Indian players having the skill set that Sehwag had.  He would murder white ball and dominate T20 in this era.

Boria Majumdar was trolled for this as well.  We had grown ass guys playing phattu cricket in the 2023 final  and losing the match when we had world class bowling attack. We don't want such a repeat. It almost happened against in 2024 final. But thankfully many things went our way in the last 5 overs. Did he mention about how sachin handeld 360 chase in 2003 final?  We have to look at their age befor ejumping all over these guys. HE is freaking 16 at the most. We are expecting him like Ricky ponting already with all the mental aspects in tact. Do you know how kela , Rohit , pujara played in under-19 world cup? India u-19 world cup final we got blown away in 2006 by pakistan.  Not even Asia cup. It was world cup.

PCI of Pooks was higher than India during the time.  2006 Pook cricketers were products of better economy and grassroot structure of PCB.  Their senior sides were pretty competitive during the same period.

 

Beating them should be the norm for Indian age group cricket in this day and age. We are punching well below our weight.

Time to acknowledge and reflect.

First of all most of them are not under-19. This Ali Raza being 17 is a joke. He is most likely 22 or 23. This is why they get exposed massively at senior level. India has made 5 world cup finals in a row winning 2 of them. Pakistan has reached semi final just once in the last 5 attempts. This world cup will give us an idea where everyone stands.

Ali Raza is gonna turn 21 in March/April.  Even that Subhan guy is around that. 

 

One match doesn't determine anything, especially at this level. 

 

Far too much scrutiny on age group cricketers
