youngindia Posted February 4 Posted February 4 (edited) im2010,Mandeep Singh was the main batsman.but KL Rahul was the one who broke through with mayank getting some time thru ranji success.. in 2012, Unmukt n Manan Vohra were the main guys.but Vohra ddnt play the wc .travis head from the losing side made it. in 2014, Sanju Samson was the key but Shreyas Iyer overtook. in 2016, Sarfaraz was the key batsman.Pant upstaged him. the first two-three ranji season usually determines who makes the transitionto sniors. then you have the t20route where Abhishek from 2018 made it.Arshdeep has gone past Nagarkotti,Mavi n Porel-the2018 pacers. Right now it looks like the route to Ind cap is through IPL. So they have to do well in Ipl for couple of seasons.
tapandrun Posted February 4 Posted February 4 George is taking leg-stump or even outside leg-stump guard. Not sure why that is. He may have tendency to get late on the ball sometimes thats why he is he is standing that far.
