We didn't win any ICC trophy from 2015 to 23, but that was the best period to be an Indian fan.

If batting does not show-up than its hard to win it with bowling.

Its been a policy shift and some things that are v.organic that lead to this. No thing to do with the intnl class. After dravid joined nca they made efforts to weed-out age frauds in u-19 cricket and to do that they made it less lucrative for players to do it. Now as the route to Ind side is not through the U-19s players have less incentive to do age frauds and keep playing at U-19 levels. As the result of this there are not many who can sneak into the u-19 teams. and hence the game or power game is not fully developed for U19 players they can not make it to Ind side. Now the path to Ind side is through IPL, players with more power game, better understanding of the game are coming. There was a time period of 2 yrs when they made U23 to u25 some player were not able to make it , now a lot of good players are coming from u23 system. A lot of performers this domestic season are the performers who were good in u-23. Its just how players are selected now :: There are 2 reasons :: 1st the policy shift to not highly incentivze U-19 wc 2nd players are being selected from IPL. When U-19 players were selected v.quickly to Ind side there was also a policy ::: 1st they use to think players who were not able to make it till now wont make it , the standrads or gap between intnl quality player and domestic player was huge. the other part was ind cricket was faced with curptn they did not know who was clean who was not , so best bet was to pick new player and not let them go into this system . Tillu Posted February 6 Posted February 6 Vaibhav should keep the pull shot away till he scores atleast 70 runs. Thats the only delivery getting him out. He can easily score centuries if he doesn't take the bait.

deathmonger Posted February 6 Posted February 6 Even assuming Sooryavanshi is 17-18 instead of 14, that is an unreal amount of talent at that age. If he develops well, mid 2030s to mid 2040s will be painful for bowlers.
