rangeelaraja Posted March 8 Posted March 8 (edited) MODS: Don't merge this please. _________________________________________________________________ Head of states giving "Haajri " at the private residence of the country's foremost oligarch. One can understand if the meeting is at a Corporate office or such venue. Its not even hidden anymore. It is naked. Any business that RIL enters, the competitors are eliminated through brute force and external pressures. For a company of such size and deep pockets, RIL doesn't do SHHHIT in R&D. Hasn't built one world class export product. Their whole business model is based on almost "stealing " state resources hogging entire sectors in the country and killing all competition through every means possible. kepler37b Posted March 9 Posted March 9 IMO, the other day I want reading environmental law. There are 2 clearances needed from state pollution board before you switch the machinery on. India is a nation full of cunning loop hole exploiters and requires a overarching babudom to regulate it. The ease of doing business is a comedy. This actually enables oligarchs for greater riches as it prevents new ones to challenge their status quo.

Atleast no civil wwr in India by likes of Blackrock You don’t understand the dangers and risks. When someone has so much money and influence - they then dictate to you how you show run your business. BlackRock does massive private investments too. Tomorrow if they buy controlling stake in Fortis or some others major private hospitals and force them to raise prices - what is it going to do for common man. BlackRock Jio partnership isn’t out of charity. They want more Indians to diversify from gold savings( which has been the savior of Indian middle class ) and invest in equity markets , so that they can line their pockets and collect commissions. Equity market participation is not the only gateway to wealth and it is not for everyone. Especially in India where Corporate Governance standards are very low compared to global standards. How will they raise 300 billion $? That is a huge amount. May be ambani will help in operation and set-up in short term. randomGuy 1

They have got into defence. Hope they evolve from screw driver giri as our friend @Lone Wolf says (and i agree with him) to own inhouse designs. That nicobar port too is a critical project. Adani son is a lot smarter than Ambani kids. Just an observation (without hard data). Lone Wolf and ravishingravi 2
MechEng Posted March 11 Posted March 11 How can you guys defend both these cronies is beyond me. If RIL moves to US, they will make it as their key base since the freight cost of buying oil from Venezuela is minimal as compared to buying from Russia. And shipping costs won't be too high either as Europe is just there after crossing the Atlantic Ocean and you have to go through the sensitive Red Sea region when shipping from India. This after getting so many favours from the government and bullying any Indian startup that experiments with innovation.
