I’m pretty sure Pakistani would do the same. I remember the 1999 kolkata test run out of Sachin Tendulkar. That was a clash when Sachin was getting to the non-strikers end with the Shoaib Akhtar  and he was blocked when the wicket was broken. Mofos claimed run out. Sab Harami Hai. Yeah, I agree that Kanglus are the worst of the two

Shaheen and Babar are last of their half-decent talents. I haven't seen anyone else after them with fundamentally good technique to have long enough careers required to dominate world cricket. I think they had a few promising players in U19. However, Pakistan doesn't have U23 system so those young players will get thrown to the wolves and then disappear. 

 

Lastly, Pakistan's domestic circuit doesn't pay much. There is little incentive besides love for the game. More and more of their young players will gravitate towards low-grade cow-lashing T20 leagues for both fame and money. 

Pcb and Pak cricket has already inclined towards t20 cricket, test has not been the priority for years now. Odi is extension of t20is.

 

Domestic circuit has not been good for decades now, Pak cricket relied on some player coming out of nowhere na start performing in the itnl games.

Rauf was playing tape cricket and came to intnl had good few years and now with age and time regressing. This is how players come in Pak team.

A player from nowhere will come.

 

Domestic have decent players but due to various reason they do nt get chance- yes those players are not comparable to top 4-5 sides. The issue is same group of players are recycled over and over again these days.

 

Yes associate teams be competing at t20is, couple of associate team pushed Ind too, pak nearly lost to nlds.  But longer formats req. systemic knowledge like how to build innings in diff phases, how to bowl off/leg spin how to use variations. These things req. lot of knowledge.

 

That's the reason only few teams in the history of  cricket been that good in all the conditions and in home and away conditions
